Job Description

Are you a wordsmith with a passion for technology and analytics? A master of translating complex concepts into clear, concise content? We are seeking a Contract Technical Content Writer who can assist our team in revising technical analytics materials, writing technical documents, and creating compelling content for our clients.

BrainDo is looking for a Contract Technical Content Writer to join our team of digital experts. As a technical writer, you will be responsible for revising technical analytics materials, creating user-friendly documentation, and developing content that effectively communicates complex technical concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to revise and enhance technical analytics materials, such as reports, data analyses, and technical documentation
  • Write clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documents, including user guides, manuals, and technical subject digital marketing content
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of technical content, adhering to industry standards and guidelines
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for various audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Conduct research and gather information from diverse sources to develop comprehensive technical content
  • Proofread and edit technical content for clarity, grammar, and style
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in technical writing and analytics

Required Skills

  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Solid understanding of analytics concepts and familiarity with analytics tools and platforms
  • Proficient in revising technical analytics materials, such as reports, data analyses, and technical documentation
  • Experience writing technical documents, including user guides, manuals, and technical subject digital marketing content
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong proofreading and editing abilities
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Strong research skills to gather information from technical sources and subject matter experts
  • Familiarity with style guides and documentation standards
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience

Bonus Points

  • Experience in the analytics industry or working with analytics platforms
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for optimizing technical content
  • Familiarity with content management systems and project management tools
  • Copyediting experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AP Stylebook
  • Experience with version control systems and collaborative writing platforms
  • Ability to create engaging visual content, such as diagrams, charts, and infographics, to enhance technical documentation
