BrainDo is looking for an SEO Strategist to join its growing team of digital marketing professionals. This mid-level role requires someone with a strong editorial background, a passion for content marketing, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Audit accounts, identify content theme opportunities based on keyword research and competitive analysis.
  • Develop client editorial calendar recommendations based on Organic research.
  • Perform ongoing analysis of SEO trends & leverage SEO tools to identify and communicate opportunities.
  • Perform an SEO analysis and recommend improvements for content optimization.
  • Optimize content and landing pages following SEO best practices and brand guidelines.
  • Create and execute an outreach plan to amplify a company’s SEO efforts.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and play a role in encouraging new SEO solutions to our clientele.

Required Skills

  • 2 years’ experience with SEO and a proven track record of successful content optimization.
  • Copywriting experience geared towards SEO (writing samples strongly preferred).
  • In-house or agency experience working alongside a team.
  • Brings analytical thinking to SEO practices and content strategy.
  • Strong writing, grammar, and copyediting skills with a focus on tightness and consistency.
  • Skilled at Organic keyword research and connecting it to client business objectives.
  • Understands the technical side of SEO.
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with clients, including in-person presentations and weekly performance check-ins.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tool sets (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).

Complementary Skills

  • HTML and or JavaScript knowledge.
  • Comfortable using CMS (example: WordPress).
  • Strategic social media and/or link building experience.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
