BrainDo is looking for an SEO Engineer to join its growing team of digital marketing professionals. This senior-level role requires someone with a strong analytical background, a passion for technical optimization, and a desire to work in a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Audit accounts, identify content theme opportunities based on keyword research and competitive analysis.
  • Provide analysis and remediation support for technical impediments to indexation.
  • Analyze data from a wide range of SEO support tools.
  • Recommends data-driven content changes based on current SEO trends.
  • Review site-wide data pulls to perform website optimization.
  • Manage SEO reports and provide contextual commentary.
  • Build and optimize new page templates.
  • Manage SEO reports and provide contextual commentary.
  • Evaluate on and off-page rankings to help implement changes to improve search engine rankings.
  • Identify opportunities to improve indexing, keyword ranking, click-through rate, and conversions.
  • Keep up to date on changes within the Organic Search landscape.

Required Skills

  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, including its technical aspects.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with SEO and a proven track record of successful content optimization.
  • In-house or agency experience working alongside a team.
  • Brings analytical thinking to SEO practices and content strategy.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets.
  • Experience with sitemap analysis, A/B testing.
  • Strong writing, grammar, and copyediting skills with a focus on tightness and consistency.
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tool sets (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities to improve indexing, keyword ranking, click-through rate, and conversions.

Complementary Skills

  • Strategic social media and/or link building experience.
  • Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with clients, including in-person presentations and weekly performance check-ins.
