Digital enthusiasts rejoice! Philly Tech Week 2017 is approaching, and this year, there are more events than ever. Since there is no way to attend every single Philly Tech Week event, we rounded up our favorites and most anticipated events of the week.

#PTW17 Innovation Crawl
Date: Friday, April 28
Time: 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Location: Various

Mix and mingle with local tech agencies during the annual Philly Tech Week 2017 Crawl. Make sure you register before you pick where you starting location and, of course, bring your business cards!

Mayoral Tech Town Hall
Date: Monday, May 1
Time: 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
Location: PHL Next Stage Med @ Schuykill Yards (3001 Market St.)

Gather around and learn about how Philadelphia’s tech scene has made an impact on the city, followed by a Q&A with Mayor Kenney and a cross-market panel about technology’s effect on economic development.

Show & Tell!: Machine-to-Machine Communication and the Race for IoT
Date: Monday, May 1
Time: 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: Bresslergroup (1216 Arch St.)

If you fancy live demonstrations, this event should definitely be on your radar. Bresslergroup teams up with Comcast, Arrow, Microchip, ST, Cypress and NXP for an evening of experts and demonstrations about IoT and machine-to-machine communication. After the presentation, nosh on some food & beverage while meeting tech-minded individuals in Philadelphia.

Social Media Boot Camp

The Future of Digital Marketing
Date: Tuesday, May 2

What is next in digital marketing? We have already seen live video streaming tools, artificial intelligence bots, mobile targeting and more. The sky is the limit when it comes to new trends and during this event, you will be able to  learn from speakers about marketing tactics that can impact consumer’s buying decisions in 2017.

PTW Dev Conference 2017
Date: Wednesday, May 3
Time: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
Location: Temple University, Alter Hall (1801 Liacouras Walk)

Attention developers: If you can only attend one event during Philly Tech Week 2017, make sure it’s this one. This all-day conference, aimed towards developers, includes hands-on workshops, a Q&A with PA Governor Tom Wolf, problem-solving group discussions, and concludes with a happy hour.

3rd Annual Women in Tech Soiree

Date: Wednesday, May 3
Time: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Location: WeWork Northern Liberties (1010 N. Hancock St.)

The women of Philadelphia’s tech scene get the spotlight during the 3rd Annual Women in Tech Soiree. The celebration will highlight programs and places that support tech innovation for women and  include a cocktail reception full of networking opportunities.

Business Track Day
Date: Thursday, May 4
Time: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
Location: WeWork Northern Liberties (1010 N Hancock St.)

Small business owners unite! The startup community gets its spotlight on Thursday as an all-day conference takes place. Folks in attendance will get to experience a B2B panel, a group discussion with local Philadelphia business founders, and the always entertaining #Failfest – a chat about failed business attempts.

#PTW17 Signature Event
Date: Friday, May 5
Time: 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Location: Pennovation Center (3401 Greys Ferry Ave.)

Finish Philly Tech Week strong with the annual concluding party sponsored by Comcast. This formal attire event celebrates the tech community in Philadelphia and features food vendors, vendors, live demonstrations, music and a photo booth so you can take pictures to forever remember the night. Techies Who Brunch
Date: Saturday, May 6
Time: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: Bridget Foy’s (200 South St.)

If you’re in dire need of a delicious wakeup meal after the Philly Tech Week’s celebratory party, get your brain over to Bridget Foy’s for the weekend tech talk. This meetup gathers the tech community together for an afternoon of networking, support and an overall good time.
