Event Picks for Philly Tech Week 2018

Digital techies rejoice – Philly Tech Week 2018 is almost here! Starting April 27th and running through May 5th, Philly Tech Week celebrates technology and innovation happening throughout the city of Philadelphia.

With over 100 events going on this week, it’s impossible to attend them all, so we rounded up our top 10 must see events for Philly Tech Week. No matter what your interest or current field, there is something for you. The week is broken down in seven different tracks and they include: Dev, Creative, Media, Access, Business, Civic and Sciences.

Our Philly Tech Week 2018 Picks

PTW 18 Kickoff Festival
Date: Friday, April 27th
Time: 5:00 pm – 10 pm
Location: The Schmidt’s Commons (1001 N 2nd Street)

Philly Tech Week starts off the 7-day festivities with their annual outdoor party. Throughout the event, attendees can visit demo booths, participate in a giant outdoor app arcade, and grab a drink at one of the many vendors and restaurants at Schmidt’s Commons.

SPiN
Date: Friday, April 27th

Rad Awards

Come to The Hotel Palomar to get inspired by local women leaders in tech! Philadelphia-based group Rad Girls will award women from all different career levels, ages and ethnic backgrounds. In case the award name didn’t give it away, this ceremony is meant to honor women for their inspiring accomplishments, their creative brains, and mostly – their overall radness! Philadelphia Futurism

This year for Philly Tech Week, Bresslergroup is hosting an event highlighting the design and development process of three very different IoT projects. For its second year in a row, O3 World invites you to put your thinking caps on as they host Innovation Day.
