On Monday, October 29th, BrainDoers Linda Bien and Jason Nederveld flew out to beautiful San Francisco for Google’s annual Google Partner Summit. The Summit boasts a week full of exclusive industry insights with this year’s focus being the recently rebranded Google Marketing Platform.
Kicking off the week was the Women’s Reception on Tuesday, October 30th, followed by The Summit on Wednesday, October 31st – Thursday, November 1st and Google’s Immersion Day on Friday, November 2nd.
Throughout the week, the team connected with colleagues from all over the world to exchange their passion and thoughts around the latest marketing trends. The event helped create new connections, friendships, and an outlook of what years are to come being Google Partners!
When the team returned, we asked Jason and Linda their thoughts on the experience, Jason offered, “The trip was enlightening in getting exposure to other partners trying to solve the same problems for clients and getting insight into how the Google team is organized and approaches improvements to their products. It was especially fun being involved in group sessions giving feedback on future feature improvements and potentially gaining access to new beta features for our clients.”
Linda added, “I’m excited to utilize DataStudio more because of all the new features that launched over the last few months. It’s becoming a more viable data reporting and visualization option. I’m also excited to explore the Advanced Analysis tool (currently in beta for Analytics 360 customers) to extract deeper insights from customer journeys.”
Because of the nature of the summit, we cannot share more specific details about the summit, but we will let you know about new exciting features once they become available to the public, so stay tuned!
